The number of lawyers filing for unemployment in Georgia dwindled in August but the number of legal staff filing initial unemployment claims rose to a new high.
In August, 48 Georgia lawyers filed for unemployment benefits, down from the year’s high of 76 claims in January, according to data from the Georgia Department of Labor.
