Former Georgia Court of Appeals Judge G. Alan Blackburn joined Balch & Bingham as of counsel on Nov. 8, after leaving the court at the end of October.
Blackburn will handle appellate work and said his primary role will be to work with other lawyers on their cases. “I don’t know how many clients I’ll get. You never know,” he said, adding that while on the bench he would get calls from time to time from people looking for referrals.
