Both of the contenders for a soon-to-be vacant seat on the Fulton County Superior Court say that a key obstacle in winning the Nov. 30 runoff election is simply getting voters to the polls.

“The biggest challenge for us is having people get back out for the runoff,” said Kelly A. Lee, the top vote-getter in the Nov. 2 election. “A lot of people don’t even know there is an election. We’re trying to get back to our voter base and get them out again. We’re the only superior court judge’s race on this ballot, and the only countywide race, so we’ll have a tough time with general voter apathy and lack of knowledge.”
