Cobb County Chief Judge Ken O. Nix has denied a motion to dismiss sodomy charges against former Harrison High School orchestra teacher Steven Parkman for having sex with one of his students.
Even though Parkman’s relationship was with a girl old enough to consent, prosecutors pursued sodomy charges based on the acts having occurred in public places.
