A Cobb County State Court jury on Friday returned a defense verdict after a two week trial in a case brought by the family of a woman killed by her car’s air bag in a low-speed crash.

The jury deliberated for three hours Thursday afternoon and six hours Friday before finding for Kia Motors Corp., its subsidiaries and Joseph Leverette, the driver of the pickup truck that caused the collision.
