As they start campaigning for their Aug. 10 runoff, Republican attorney general hopefuls Samuel S. Olens and Preston W. Smith shouldn’t expect help from the candidate who in Tuesday’s primary came in a close third place.
F. Maxwell Wood, who garnered the votes of more than 169,000 Georgians for more than 29 percent, said Wednesday that he won’t back either Republican because he has “serious concerns” about their core values.
