Ford & Harrison ended 2009 with flat profit per equity partner, despite a drop in revenue. The labor and employment firm reported a revenue decrease of 7 percent, to $75 million. Revenue per lawyer dropped 8.7 percent, to $396,766, and profit per partner decreased by 0.3 percent, to $386,989.

The firm’s managing partner, C. Lash Harrison, said the firm budgeted for flat revenue, but that a drop in collections threw a wrench in the works. “It doesn’t matter if you have the work-if you’re not getting paid for it, that’s a problem,” he said.
