The state Judicial Qualifications Commission says that a Twiggs County probate judge whom it is seeking to remove from office is retaliating against people who testified against him at a January hearing.
In an emergency motion filed Wednesday, the JQC asked the Supreme Court of Georgia to suspend Twiggs County Probate Judge Kenneth E. Fowler, who remains on the bench while the high court considers whether to accept a JQC recommendation to remove him from office for judicial misconduct.
