I took my 12-year-old son Wages to the Masters in Augusta on Saturday. It was his first real experience at golf’s first major of the year. He went a few years ago, but nonstop rain washed out the day.

This time the weather was gorgeous, the golf was sensational and the experience was exhilarating. So many of golf’s current and past superstars from around the world were in great position after Friday to make a championship run over the weekend. Saturday is “moving day” at the Masters when golfers either go low and move up the leaderboard, or fizzle and fall out of contention.
