Gov. Sonny Perdue signed legislation Wednesday that immediately increases fees for dozens of court services, but parties in some judicial circuits won’t be expected to pay the higher fees for several weeks.

Fulton County Superior Court will post notices in the courthouse about the higher fees within the next week, said Sean Marvel, the Superior Court’s chief deputy clerk for fiscal services. The Superior Court is expected to begin to assess the higher fees in July, Marvel said.
