BOSTON AP – A lawyer for President Barack Obama’s African aunt says the president has not become involved in her hearing to remain in the United States after living here illegally for years.

Attorney Margaret Wong said “absolutely not” when asked if Obama submitted a letter on behalf of his aunt, Zeituni Onyango zay-TUH’-nee awn-YAHN’-goh. Onyango made her case Thursday in U.S. Immigration Court in Boston.
