Mayor Kasim Reed has put a “help wanted” sign in the window of the City of Atlanta Law Department.

Reed has appointed a committee of lawyers to vet candidates for the city attorney post, which has been vacant since last May, when Elizabeth B. Chandler left to take a position as general counsel for Duluth’s Asbury Automotive Group.
