COLUMBIA, S.C. AP – U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham said Monday he wants to work with the White House to create a way to have military trials for terror suspects that include due process and that make the proceedings as open as possible.

The argument over whether to try Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other suspects in the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks held at the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in a military or civilian court overshadows that the president, Congress and courts have never gotten together to decide the best way to deal with these types of suspects.
