On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia-and as her former law partner-I want to express congratulations to Atlanta attorney Linda A. Klein, who was recently nominated as the 2010 chair of the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates, the second-highest office in the ABA. The House of Delegates is the 555-member policymaking body of the association, and its actions on specific issues become official ABA policies.

The nomination took place during the ABA’s 2010 Midyear Meeting in Orlando, Fla., during which Ms. Klein also received the 2010 Fellows Outstanding State Chair Award presented by the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation. The annual award recognizes a state chair who has demonstrated a dedication to the work of the foundation and its mission through exceptional efforts on behalf of the fellows in his or her state.
