A cold call from a Long Island woman who found their firm online led to a whistleblower suit that settled for almost $24 million last month in federal court in New York, said Sara E. Vann of Atlanta’s Bothwell, Bracker & Vann.
“She just looked us up on the Internet,” said Vann, whose firm Web site can be found at www.whistleblowerjustice.com. “She had tried a couple of local attorneys and couldn’t get anybody interested. I happened to take the call, and I immediately knew she was right; she was believable.”
