The jokes and banter hit my e-mail last week on news of Tiger Woods’ early-morning car crash and subsequent confession of “transgressions” and “personal failings.”
I was stunned by the news on Woods, who has maintained a clean image-for the most part-ever since he turned professional 13 years ago. There was that infamous article on Woods in GQ magazine in April 1997 when he let his guard down and told off-color jokes about sex and race.
