ATLANTA AP – A judge granted a delay for the first appearance hearing of a major military food supplier charged with inflating prices and defrauding the U.S. government.

The hearing was scheduled for Friday but U.S. Magistrate Judge Janet King rescheduled the hearing for Dec. 1 after Kuwaiti logistics firm Public Warehousing Co. asked for more time. Prosecutors urged the hearing to be delayed only a day or two.
