ATLANTA AP – The restaurant where a black female Army reservist was beaten by a white man in front of her 7-year-old daughter has banned the man from ever visiting any of its establishments again.

Cracker Barrel issued a statement on Thursday condemning the Sept. 9 incident against Tashawnea Hill, who police say was attacked outside the restaurant in Morrow by Troy D. West. Authorities say West became enraged when Hill told him to be careful after he nearly hit her daughter while opening the restaurant’s door.
