In the 30 years he’s been a member of Safari Club International, Atlanta resident Joseph J. Wright estimates he’s spent about $150,000 on hunting trips arranged through the organization that have taken him to dozens of far-flung countries around the world.

“I’ve had some good ones, I’ve had some bad ones; I’ve even had a few real bad ones,” said the cheerful 73-year-old retired businessman. “But I’ve never asked for my money back.”
