BRUNSWICK, Ga. AP – A Georgia man pleaded guilty Thursday to lying to police who questioned him in the slaying of a 6-year-old boy who was sexually assaulted and choked to death last year, but prosecutors dropped more serious charges against him.
Donald Dale, 35, was scheduled to stand trial next week on more serious charges of concealing a death, tampering with evidence and felony obstruction in the March 2007 slaying of Christopher Michael Barrios.
