Law firm mergers climbed significantly in the second quarter of 2008 compared with the first quarter, according to new research from law firm consultancy Altman Weil Inc.
Altman Weil tracked 26 law firm mergers and acquisitions in April, May and June, mostly involving small firms, compared with 18 during the first quarter of 2008.
