Two more lawyers have announced they’ll be running for the Georgia Court of Appeals this year, growing the field to four.

Atlanta lawyer Bruce M. Edenfield said Thursday he will run for the opening created by Judge John H. Ruffin Jr.’s decision not to seek re-election. Edenfield was quickly followed by Lawrenceville criminal defense lawyer Michael M. Sheffield, who ran in a 2004 open race for the seat won by Judge Debra Bernes.
