So much for the notion that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

Two years ago, a tiny Las Vegas accounting firm called Beckstead & Watts LLP filed a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the Public Co. Accounting Oversight Board, after receiving an unflattering report card from the auditing profession’s fledgling regulator. The suit once seemed like a quixotic attempt at revenge, especially after a federal judge ruled against Beckstead last year. Not anymore, though.
