I hate to dwell on this, but Montreal has a heck of a film festival and is a heck of a city.
That’s why looking forward at the new crop of fall movies makes me look back with a sigh. Last week, I was watching movies from Spain, Canada, China, India, Egypt and Mexico. Next week, I’ll be watching movies from Hollywood, Hollywood, Hollywood and Hollywood. Plus an amazing Czech film I have already seen, “I Served the King of England,” but it won’t be out here until Sept. 26.
