If money is the lifeblood of politics, candidates in contested races for judgeships in Fulton County may need a complete transfusion.

Asked to rate the qualifications of local judicial candidates, most of the 530 members who responded to the Atlanta Bar Association’s recent poll said they had “insufficient knowledge” to do so. Those who responded represented less than 10 percent of the group’s 5,746 members.
