ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas was the guest of the University of Georgia Tip-Off Club earlier this month. Bilas, 44, participated in the organization’s golf outing at The Georgia Club outside Athens and spoke at the dinner afterward.
During the golf event, Bilas was positioned on the par-3 8th hole where he hit one tee shot with each group. Foursomes of alumni and former Georgia basketball players took turns meeting and greeting Bilas, a Charlotte, N.C., resident. Each group was allowed to use Bilas’ tee shot if he knocked it closer to the hole than they did.
