Holland & Knight partner Sara L. Doyle and Lawrenceville criminal defense attorney Michael M. Sheffield were the top vote-getters in the seven-candidate appeals court race, but a gap between Sheffield and third-place finisher Tamela L. Adkins, a Lawrenceville divorce lawyer, was closing slightly.
