CAMDEN, N.J. AP – Jurors deliberating in the trial of five Muslim men accused of plotting to kill soldiers at the Army’s Fort Dix have more than the defendants’ words and actions to scrutinize.
At the heart of the case are two informants who entered the country illegally, made deals with the FBI to cooperate in order to stay out of jail and withstood days of grueling cross-examination by defense lawyers in one of the country’s highest profile terrorism trials.
