PHILADELPHIA AP – A wealthy Russian-American businessman accused of luring girls from an orphanage in Russia and forcing them into prostitution will remain behind bars while he awaits trial in the United States, a federal judge ruled Thursday.

Andrew Mogilyansky, 38, of Richboro, had been granted house arrest a day earlier, but U.S. District Judge Mary A. McLaughlin overruled the decision on appeal. McLaughlin agreed with prosecutors that Mogilyansky’s wealth, language skills and global connections render him a flight risk.
