Attorneys at a banking and finance law seminar at the State Bar of Georgia on Wednesday offered bleak predictions about banking in Georgia, where six banks have already failed as a result of the current economic crisis.
“We’re going to lose additional banks,” said Walter G. Moeling IV, a partner at Bryan Cave-Powell Goldstein who was introduced by a colleague as “the dean of banking lawyers” in Atlanta. “The worldwide recession is here.”
