Joel A. Freedman, 49, said he was “blessed” with a thin body. He never thought about exercising or watching his diet until he hit middle age and his body began to change.
“I was fine until I hit my 40s and then I started to get lumpy and thick around the middle,” said Freedman, co-managing partner at Johnson & Freedman, formerly Morris, Schneider, Prior, Johnson & Freedman, in Atlanta. “I had put on some weight and was out of shape. My whole life I had never put on weight before.”
