Personal: Michael H. Ward, 45, grew up in Texas and Massachusetts and moved to Atlanta in 1992. Wife Marcia is an Atlanta school administrator and the couple has three children. On Sunday mornings, Ward sometimes can be found playing piano for his church choir. His father is Felker W. Ward Jr., an attorney and CEO of Pinnacle Investment Advisors.
