NEW YORK AP – Prosecutors outlined potential conflicts of interest between Bernard Madoff and his attorney – including a $900,000 investment the lawyer’s relatives made in Madoff’s firm – but said they won’t be an obstacle to resolving the case.
The letter from prosecutors was made public Tuesday just before a hearing where the money manager was expected to tell U.S. District Judge Denny Chin that he was aware of the potential conflicts but was not bothered by them.
