The networks don’t seem to know how to handle the tragic death of Natasha Richardson. Her name is familiar, but much less so than that of her celebrity husband Liam Neeson, mother Vanessa Redgrave and even father Tony Richardson, Oscar-winning director of “Tom Jones”.
The manner of her unexpected death-a seemingly harmless fall on a bunny slope-is more to their liking, so look for story after story about ski safety, head injuries, etc.
