It was raining cats and dogs in Albany last Wednesday, and one of the city’s most avid golfers was holed up in his law office waiting for a real estate closing. Walter H. “Bubba” Burt III of Burt & Swan knows the rain is needed, but he hoped it’s dry enough to play golf on the weekend.

“I play golf three to four times a week,” said Burt, who is a member at Doublegate Country Club and plays with a regular group of friends on weekends and Friday afternoons. “I tell my secretary not to schedule any real estate closings on Fridays.”
