The state Supreme Court has upheld the levying of attorney fees against two McKenna Long & Aldridge lawyers, partner Barry J. Armstrong and associate Jeremy M. Moeser, ordering them to pay nearly $18,000 in legal expenses to the town of Braselton, northwest of Atlanta.

At the same time, the court found for the sanctioned attorneys’ clients who found additional representation for an appeal, reversing a land decision that had gone against developers who argued they shouldn’t have to pay for town-ordered improvements.
