Gambling on the Masters is a Southern tradition, like pimento cheese on white bread. I know because I have been around the culture of the Masters for three decades.

Each year, when the world’s best golfers tee it up at Augusta National Golf Club, as they did earlier this month, money flows in Georgia like Rae’s Creek after an April downpour. Like betting on the winning horse at the Kentucky Derby, many Masters aficionados enjoy placing a little dough on the golf show.
