A year after the mother of a Hall County teenager was sentenced to a year in jail for arranging an abortion for his girlfriend, the doctors and physicians’ practice group that performed the procedure are being sued.
Attorneys representing the girlfriend, Renee Wymer, and her mother, Genevieve Patterson, sued Northside Women’s Clinic and two doctors in DeKalb County Superior Court this month, saying they violated the state’s parental notification law and the state’s Woman’s Right to Know Act.
