John F. “Sandy” Smith and his three-lawyer team have moved from Morris, Manning & Martin to Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice with the goal of broadening their business practice.
Smith and Bernard H. Coleman Jr. join Womble’s corporate and securities practice as partners and bring associates Travis T. Townsend Jr. and Louis Barbieri III with them. Smith serves as outside counsel to middle-market and growth companies, advising on corporate governance issues and mergers and acquisitions.
