A Fulton County judge granted a motion to transfer to Gwinnett County a case challenging Gwinnett’s plans to reorganize its garbage-collection services.

Fulton Superior Court Judge Thomas R. Campbell Jr. ordered late Wednesday that Waste Pro USA v. Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful Services, No. 2009-CV-163836, be transferred to Gwinnett because “local issues” should decide the case, he wrote. The waste-hauling firm Waste Pro filed the suit in Fulton because one of the defendant’s registered agents is based in Fulton.
