Attorneys who represent both plaintiffs and employers in workers’ compensation disputes say they would like to see Carolyn C. Hall reappointed as chair of the State Board of Workers’ Compensation. Hall’s four-year term expired in May, and Gov. Sonny Perdue is in the process of deciding whether to retain her or select a new judge, according to his office.

Some attorneys also expressed support for former Southern District U.S. attorney Richard S. “Rick” Thompson, a partner at Drew Eckl & Farnham who has extensive experience in workers compensation law.
