Clements & Sweet, a small firm that represents plaintiffs in workers’ compensation disputes and other types of employment litigation, has expanded and restructured in recent months. The changes, however, won’t alter the firm’s focus, which the lawyers half-jokingly say is to compete with the nonprofit Atlanta Legal Aid Society.
John F. Sweet, the firm’s founder and longtime managing partner, has handed the reins of the firm over to L. Thomas Clements. The firm also converted from a professional corporation to a limited liability partnership.
