Gov. Sonny Perdue will name Drew Eckl & Farnham partner Richard S. “Rick” Thompson as a member of the State Board of Workers’ Compensation, replacing Viola S. Drew, whose term has expired, according to Perdue’s office. Thompson is a former U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Georgia who has experience in workers’ compensation law.
