I sat in front of the TV on Sunday fully expecting Tiger Woods to win his 15th major at the 91st PGA Championship. Boy, was I stunned when Y.E. Yang pulled off the major upset.
South Korea’s Yang shocked Woods and the golf universe by beating the world’s No. 1 golfer in a scenario where he was previously unbeatable. Fourteen times Woods had entered the final round of a major with at least a share of the lead. Fourteen times he had ended the day with a championship trophy or jug in his arms.
