WOOD PARTNERS’ ANNOUNCEMENT last spring that it wanted to turn vacant Norfolk Southern buildings into residential housing was seen as a key effort to revitalize the newly branded Railroad District.
A year later, Wood Partners has abandoned its plans. But another player, the Morsberger Group has said it will redevelop a different railroad spot-the nearby Citizens & Southern National Bank building-into a $50 million mixed-use condo project.
