THE STATE SUPREME COURT on Monday ruled unanimously that a suit brought by parents who alleged that Gwinnett County school officials waited too long to call 911 when their son was beaten up at school cannot go forward.
Joe and Michelle Bajjani had claimed that North Gwinnett High School officials did not call an ambulance for their son Timothy right away because they were afraid reporting the incident might lead the school to end up on a “dangerous schools” list under the federal No Child Left Behind Act.
