IF YOUR PICTURE ISN’T framed and on the wall at Mary Mac’s Tea Room, then you must not have arrived yet. Everybody else is there.
We know because the pictures, many of them autographed, are framed and on the walls of the restaurant. “The most important thing about the walls, I think, is that they show the diversity of our clientele,” says Amy Bending, the Tea Room manager. “We’ve had the Dali Lama, Ted Turner, Richard Gere and President Jimmy Carter, but we also have a collage of photos from a church group in Iowa.”
