HUNTON & WILLIAMS will raise pay for Atlanta first-year associates to $145,000 per year from $115,000, according to the firm’s managing partner for Atlanta, Kurtis A. Powell.
Hunton has 39 associates in its Atlanta office, according to its Web site. Hunton will also raise associates’ pay to $145,000 for all its other offices besides New York. Hunton will raise associates’ pay in New York to $160,000, according to an internal law firm memo obtained by the blog Abovethelaw.com.
