AN ORGANIZATION devoted to providing pro bono legal services to artists has ridden to the rescue of a startup business magazine to fend off what the publisher says would be “devastating” consequences for the fledgling glossy.
Charles “Charlie” Caperton said his new magazine, Atlanta Business, found attorneys from King & Spalding through the Georgia Lawyers for the Arts, which matches attorneys with members of the arts community needing legal assistance. Caperton and his company, Caperton Capital, is now a client of King & Spalding partner Courtland L. Reichman and associate Thomas C. Lundin Jr.
