THE FEDERAL APPEALS judges who last week upheld former Atlanta Mayor Bill Campbell’s 30-month prison sentence did a lot more than reject his legal arguments: In scorching commentary, they dressed Campbell down for failing to take responsibility for his actions.
The judges also said his sentence demonstrated “considerable leniency and restraint.”
